The AGITG is Australia’s largest independent non-profit organisation conducting clinical trials into gastro-intestinal (GI) cancers.
Our Mission Statement:
To continually achieve better health outcomes for patients with gastro-intestinal cancers by conducting and promoting clinical research, addressing key clinical questions.
– To support clinical trials to develop and evaluate new treatments that work best for individuals with GI cancers
– Using the AGITG membership of over 750 medical and scientific professionals to identify key clinical questions in the treatment of GI cancers
– Encourage members of the medical and scientific community to participate in conducting, evaluating, promoting and developing clinical trials in GI cancers
– Freely publish and promote the results of the clinical trials to improve clinical practice.
